your asking for Positivity from the Super Pokefans. yeah~ that's like asking a Charmander to learn Water Gun. look, as a super positive fan of the series who has no real negative bone towards Game Freak: the fans can just suck the fun out of anything. like a few weeks ago when Goh from Pokemon Journeys caught a Suicune. all i heard was BS about it because "Ash should have caught it" and "Ash had better connections so why did Goh catch it?" nonsense. i won't bring out that Pandora's Box of rant here but it was annoying to think fans got annoyed a character, who's dream is to catch all Pokemon all the way to Mew, caught a Legendary and in a legit way!
and that's just the anime! the games are a whole other can of worms i don't want opened! I'm just gonna step away from "those fans" and stick with the ones that enjoy Pokemon.

I try to stay positive, but I was hoping for more of a reimagining of DP with SWSH's engine instead of an Animal Crossing 1:1 remake that doesn't add anything new like FRLG, HGS, or ORAS did
@@crcoghill I don’t think the games look bad....but I don’t really like how it’s a square by square remake. I feel like it looks a little...bad for a switch game? I think the other game looks good though
Don't get me wrong, positivity is always good and I do really love the chibi style for the dp remakes. But companies still deserve constructive criticism, they need to make the product how the people want it

This is the worst thing the Pokemon Company has ever makde. I would be okay with it existing, though still a little disgusted, if BDSP was done right, but even that's not. So basically The Pokemon Company decided that Sinnoh was worth defiling twice withoin four months, once with a cashgrab that is basically just games that already exist with nothing new (aside from possibly newer moves), and a second time with a bleeding open world game with no gyms, no clear ojbjective, NOTHING. Also this game terrifies me because sinceit's made from Gamefreak, people are claiming that this is what the future of Pokemon games couldbe, and if so that means this is a DEAD franchise, that Sword and Shield were the last good games.
Also because this game is coming out in 2022, it scares me that gen 9 won't also be 2022 as regularaly scheduled. But also, they should've done this to Kalos,w here they could bring inthe Pokemon that Yveltal made go extinct, instead of this stupid Arceus garbage.

For the record, Pokémon Legends: Arceus is officially considered a mainline Pokémon game, so yes this is a new title in the main series.

Looks Like Pokemon is going to have their own versions of Zelda Breath Of The Wild and Link's Awakening.
It looks amazing. Hopefully they'll add pvp if not atleast give us plenty of story mode to play

Hi, Jess! It's Rowlet, Oshawott, and Cyndaquil because I think their evolutions are in theme with the old Japan? Rowlet = archer, Oshawott = Samurai, and Cyndaquil = old style kabuki kimono thing that it has when his fire collar is up :P
EDIT: Apparently, Typhlosion's Japanese name is "Bakufoon", which comes from "Bakufu", a Japanese shogunate.
Also, Johto is DEEP in Sinnoh lore. What does Alola have to do with Sinnoh though? What does Unova have for a connection??

Reaction like this is why i love Nintendo games/consoles they're just part of almost every gamers childhood and i just can't imagine a world where there is no Nintendo.
For a Feudal Sinnoh, it's only appropriate to have: Samurai Otter; Archer Owl; Fire Badger... Fire Badger?
What if... They introduce Armor evolution? Or some gimmick that enhances the "ancient" pokemon?

So my thoughts on why they chose those three starters is because their final evolutions fit the theme and time period well.

I think for some people, seeing the 'chibi' version _before_ showing that it was using newer style to match the older sprites threw people off.

The remakes look amazing. I Nuzlock Platinum yearly, so this will be a nice upgrade for me. Especially if it’s 1:1 with extra features, fingers crossed.

Awesome video Jesss I never played diamond and pearl so I’m excited to play them for the first time and Pokémon legends arceus looks amazing.
My idea of remakes are adding features and quality of life stuff as well to a previous establish story/game...like the other remakes!
Them constantly saying that they were faithful make me believe that these are remasters/ports.
They need to give us a reason to buy these instead of just playing the originals or even Platinum

Seeing your reactions to the Legends reveal was so great and funny. I kept asking myself "What the heck is this?" when they played the trailer and it's still pretty mind blowing to think of an open world Pokemon game. It is a huge experimental move for the franchise. I also love that you had a positive reaction to the chibi designs in BD/SP. The moment I saw tiny Dawn, I thought that it looked so cute and charming, so it is nice to see other people liking the designs too.
Those 3 starters resemble: A samurai, A Archer and A monk of some form with Tyhlosion
I am so happy! I grew up with the Sinnoh Region and I’m crying Rn!
13:39 Here's a theory I came across.
Oshawott becomes a samurai. In the older days, Japan had many samurai.
Rowlett uses a bow. A very common weapon used by samurai and other fighting forces were the yumi, a Japanese bow.
Cyndaquil evolves into the Volcano Pokémon. Japan not only resides nearly entirely in the Ring of Fire, but it also has many natural disasters and many of the harshest ones involve volcanoes like Mt. Fuji and Sakurajima.
They all represent old symbols of power in Japan: the bow for Military Power, the volcano for Natural/Deity-Related Power, and samurai for Sociopolitical Power.
@Just Jess We only get those particular three Pokemon as Starters because 1) Every Pokemon Game only gives you the choice of three starters and 2) Those are the three Pokemon that Professor NotOak managed to catch and bring back from a different region.

So the dive and roll is not the only mechanic that will happen in Pokémon Legends. There will be Flying (like soaring but with a Corviknight Taxi-like transport), Climbing and Riding. Yes, those three aspects from Zelda's BOTW are in.

The Arceus part of the logo reminds me of the same font and font animation of Avatar the Last Airbender DS game lol
Grew up with generation 4 and can’t wait for the remakes sure the art style isn’t snuff with swsh but I’m so preservation of the original feel makes it feel just the nostalgic can’t wait to play the game in a new this winter :D

It actually makes COMPLETE sense as to why we would NOT get Chimchar, Piplup or Turtwig as our starters-we're MAKING the FIRST pokedex.
